Israeli duo In
concert shule
The “Reim Duo” — Benny Ro
senbaum and Yiarael Gottesdie-
ner — will appear in concert at
8:26 p.m. Monday, Mar. 14, at
Ahavath Achim Synagogue.
These two young Israeli enter-
tainers began performing in
1969 after serving three yean in
the Army's Military Rabbinical
Choir. Their first public civilian
performance at the Haaaidlc
Song Festival was the beginning
of their success.
They have since won first
prizes for the song “Ma Na’ava”
in the Jerusalem Song Festival
and for the song “Eshet Lot” in
the Biblical Song Festival, as
well as prizes for “Vehave
Aleinu” and “Od Yishma” in the
Hassidic Song Festival.
They have appeared in Europe
and the U. S. and have made
several records for Decca.

AJCC annual meeting Mar. 27
The 29th Annual Meeting of the Atlanta Jewish Com
munity Center will be held Sunday, Mar. 27, at the Center.
A reception at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 7.
Presentations and tributes will be made to Center leaders
and volunteers. Officers will be elected and special program
exhibits displayed.
Nomination of officers and board members will be made
by Leonard Diamond, chairman of the Nominating Com
mittee. Other committee members are Phyllis Freedman,

part program dealing with the
“different child” — one with
neuro-muscular disorders
and/or developmental delay.
The first session, at 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Mar. 8, at Temple Sinai
wUI deal with a variety of topics
including the possibility of sur
gical intervention, available
medications and their use and
the child’s 'sexuality.
Led by Linda Natfaanson,
M.D., F.A.A.P., director of the
Children’s Habilitation Center,
the program is geared to
parents, professionals and
laymen.
The second session, on Tues
day, Mar. 15, at 8 p.m., will deal
with the anxiety and handling of
the child's handicap and how
parents cope with increased
demands on their time. It will be
led by Ronnie Jaffe, family
counselor with the Children’s
Habilitation Center.

Moshe Ravin, Director, North
American Department, Ministry
of Foreign Affairs in Israel, will
be the guest speaker. He has
served with the Israel Defense
Forces and has filled a number
of posts in the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and the Em
bassy of Israel before assuming
his present position.
Mr. Ravin will speak in
Friendship Hall after services.
