publications are restricted to
Christian advertisers and urge
readers to buy in Christian-
owned stores. “Christian Yellow

Christians, thereby excluding
Catholics and most Protestant
denominations, in • addition to
Jews and other non-Christians.
In making the report public
ADL’s general counsel said that
the agency is researching the
possibility of bringing legal ac

“Christian Yellow Pages,” it en
courages Christians to patronize
Christian businesses.
The “buy Christian” cam
paigns, according to the ADL
report, remind Jews of Hitler’s
campaign in the eariy 30’s which
began with a boycott of Jewish
stores, escalated to breaking the
store windows, and then the
stationing of storm troopers in
front of the shope to intimidate
would-be customers.
The report states that “while
no such intent is necessarily im

fact that the historic parallel
does exist.”
