Hebrew Academy student presents AJWF director M.C. Get-
tinger with $60 contribution to the AtlanU Jewish Welfare
Federation Campaign. The funds were raised in a sixth-grade
mini-campaign after studying the history of Jewish obligation
from Kehillah to Jewish Federation.
Teens return from Israel
Seven Atlanta teenagers were
part of a forty-member ex
change group from the United
States which spent six weeks in
Israel.
Hie delegation included Joel
'Bauman, Alan Glassman, Lewis
Kamrass, Ellen Kramarow,
Cyndi Levine, Cathy Shmerling
and Stuart Tuck.
The program was sponsored
nationally by the World Zionist
Organization and coordinated
locally by the Atlanta Bureau of
Jewish Education. It is designed
to promote a better understan
ding of the Amercian Jewish
community and of American life
in general on the part pf Israeli
high school youth.
