Joseph L. Moskowitz, son of
Mr and Mrs. Louis Moskowitz of

requirements of Fellowship in the
Society of Actuaries. Moskowitz,
a 1975 graduate of Georgia Tech,
received his B.S. degree in
industrial management. He
recently joined the firm of Peat,
Marwick, and Mitchell as an

Jonathan Kipnis, son of
Dorothy and Frank Kipnis of
Charleston, recently graduated
from Emory University School of
Law. He has accepted a position
with a law firm in Greenbelt,
Md.
State Rep. Mike Nichols, D-Atlanta, ponders over proposals
aimed at improving the quality of life of Georgia's senior citizens
during a recent meeting of the Joint House and Senate Aged Study
Committee at the State Capitol. The committee is studying areas of
concern to the elderly such as health care and social services,
transportation, housing and energy, and protection services.

Prayer in Queens, N.Y., is all smiles as he introduces New York
Mayor Edward Koch, during recent rededication ceremonies at the
rebuilt synagogue. The original building was destroyed by fire two
years ago.

The Bar Mitzva of Adam Lane
Alterman of Atlanta will take
place at 9 a m., Saturday, August
11, at Ahavath Achim Synagogue.
A congregational kiddush will
follow. Adam is the son of Helene
Alterman and Richard Alterman,

Augusta has been elected
president of the Medical
College of Georgia Faculty
Wives Club for 1979-80 She is
the first Jewish woman to serve
as president of the MCG
Faculty Wives since its
inception 35 years ago
A graduate of Juilliard and
Queens College of New York,
where she received a master’s
degree in music education, Mrs.
Bronstein has been active in
Augusta's Jewish community.
She served as president of the
Augusta Chapter of American
Mizrachi Women for three
years and currently serves on
the board of education of Adas
Yeshurun Synagogue.
