A Hadassah documentary titled “For the Good of All," which reports on Hadassah’s medical work in Israel, will be shown at 6 p.m, Monday, Oct. 15, on WETV’ Channel 30. The program will review four case histories being treated by the Hadassah Medical Organization: a cardiac patient, a two-pound infant, a man who has lost his sight, and one whose diagnosis is cancer. Beth Shalom women plan Lox Box weekend The sisterhood of Congregation Beth Shalom will sponsor a Lox Box the weekend of Oct. 27. Boxes will include Nova lox, bagels, cream cheese, and additional items. Boxes will be delivered to the orderers’ home on Saturday evening, Oct. 27, or they can be picked up at Sunday School at Briarlake School on Sunday, Oct. 28. Orders must be placed by Friday, Oct. 19. Suburban Post 1980 begins year Yeshiva High begins youth enrichment courses Yeshiva High School will offer a two-course program of enrichment studies for elementary day-school students in grades six and seven beginning Sunday, Oct. 21, from 9:30-11 a.m., at the AJCC, and continuing for seven weeks. Rabbi Estreicher will lead a class in “An Introduction to Talmud Study" and Mrs. Sandra Cohen will teach an “Introduction to Computer Literacy—a hands-on approach.” Enrollment is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
