LUNCHEON AND DINNER ENTREES DAILY

In Psychology 101 I studied
“deferred gratification,” which, I
discovered, meant “You Can’t
Always Get What You Want
When You Want It." Your ability
to accept that fact depended on
your level of emotional maturity.
Ahem.
Some people want to share
hearth and home with another
person so much, they stampede
their way through the dating years
full of anxiety, wanting immediate
gratification (read marriage). For
reasons unknown, these people do
not realize the benefits of being
single and consider this time
wasted.
On the contrary, this period of
our lives before marriage (first or
second) serves an important
purpose. It gives us a time to learn
about ourselves, so that we are able
to make decisions about our future
based on what we know, not on
what we would like.
