Kaplan-Chetlin
Debra Sue Chetlin and Robert
Ivan Kaplan, both of Atlanta, were
married Nov. 11 at the Concordia
Club in Pittsburgh with Rabbi
Kenneth Segel officiating. A
reception at the Concordia Club
followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs.
Milton Chetlin of Pittsburgh and
the late Dr. Chetlin. The
bridegroom is the son of Judgeand
Mrs. Arthur Kaplan of Atlanta.
Given in marriage by her uncle,
Sam Chetlin, the bride had as her
maid of honor Miss Barbara

After a wedding trip to St.
Martin, the couple will live in
Atlanta.
Steele-Gaynes
The marriage of Shelley Steele
and Bruce Gaynes, both of
Atlanta, will take place Tuesday,
Jan. 1, at the Tower Place Hotel
with Rabbi Marc Wilson
officiating.
Ms. Steele, formerly of Denver,
graduated with a bachelor’s degree
in psychology from Newcomb
College of Tulane University. She
is presently an account executive in
the marketing department of
Southern Bell Telephone.
Mr. Gaynes, formerly of
Millburn, N.J., received his
bachelor's degree in history from
Tulane University. He obtained his
Juris Doctorate from Emory
University School of Law and
recently became a certified public
accountant.
The couple will honeymoon on a
Caribbean cruise and will reside in
Atlanta.
Becker-Omer
Miss Berta Omer and Steven
William Becker of Savannah were
married Nov. 13 in Jerusalem.
The bride is the daughter of
Joseph Omer. The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny
Becker of Savannah.
After a wedding trip to Europe,
the couple will live in the United
States.
A reception was held in
Jerusalem Theater.
