plans study meeting
The Sandwoody chapter of
Women’s American ORT will hold
its study group meeting on Sunday
evening, Feb. 7.
The program will be a panel
discussion ^pn intermarriage. The
panel will be led by Rabbi Donald
Tam of Temple Emanu-El, Phyllis
Levine, outreach coordinator for
the Jewish Family and Children’s
Bureau, and a couple who have
experienced intermarriage.

Sisterhood is scheduled for 11:30
a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, in the
Srochi Auditorium of the

A show, “Paint Me a Rainbow,"
will be presented Patsy Weinman
directed and choreographed the
production. Dorothy Rosenblum
will serve as narrator.

Holidays begin at sunset the day before
Alumni of the Albert Einstein
College of Medicine, located in
New York City, will hold theirfirst
organizational meeting in Atlanta
at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at the
home of Dr. Michael S. Landy.
Many of the 26 alumni and
former house staff who live and
practice medicine in the Atlanta
area are expected to attend this
informational and organizational
session. An update of programs
and activities at the College of
Medicine will be presented by Ron
Gordon, director of Einstein’s
alumni association.
Chaim H Friend, recently
appointed director of the College
of Medicine’s Southeast Region
and a native of Atlanta, will attend
the meeting to seek assistance in
enlisting the support of the
community on behalf of the
medical school

Citywide Blood Drive, co

be held Sunday, Feb. 7, from 9
a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ahavath
Achim Synagogue, for the benefit
of the American Red Cross. All
donors will receive a free
continental breakfast.
