‘The Golden Land*
to be at AJCC/Peachtree
The Atlanta Jewish Community
Center, Workmen's Circle and
Hemshech will present the play
“The Golden Land” at 8 p.m.

exhibit to be displayed
The works of J. Price Wiesman
will be on display March 8-April
11, at the AJCC on Peachtree.
Formerly of Cincinnati, Judy
Wiesman moved to Atlanta in
1978 and works as an artist in the
engineering experimental station
at Georgia Tech. Her works are in
acrylics and water colors. Any
works purchased through the
center are tax deductible.

plan fashion meeting
The Chattahoochee Chapter of
Women’s American ORT is
sponsoring a fashion color and
\style analysis meeting at 8 p.m.

Charlotte Dodson, a consultant,
will speak on personal fashion
color and style image. A free color
analysis will be given to the winner
of the door prize.

to tour museum
The Atlanta Chapter of City of
Hope will host “A Morning at
Symphony Hall,” at 10 a.m.
Monday, Feb. 21, at the Atlanta
Memorial Arts Center.
There will be a slide presentation
with speaker Martha McElhannon.
Lunch will be served.

Dennis B. Cogan, Ph D , assistant

retirement and post retirement
planning and how to cope with
actual retirement.

Shearith Israel youth
begin JNF grove project
The youth of Shearith Israel
announce the opening of a new
Jewish National Fund project,
Shearith Israel “Young People’s
Grove."
The grove, which will be a long
term project, is being co-sponsored
by the congregation’s Religious
School, Youth Group, Teen
Group and Chesed Club.
Donations to the project are being
made through tree sales as well as
Blue Box collections. The “Young
People’s Grove" will be a part of
the overall congregational effort,
Nachalat Shearith Israel.

Epstein PTA plans
educational fair
The Epstein/Solomon Schechter
School PTA will sponsor * a
“Health, Education and Well-Fair”
at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at
the school.
The fair will feature four
workshops. Registrants will
choose to attend two of the four
workshops which will be presented
by Dr. Deborah Femhoff, director
of the Atlanta Center for
Psychotherapy; Joyce Flournoy,
consumer education director of the
Office of Consumer Affairs; llene
Miller, nutritionist; Dr. Jonathan
Winner, pediatrician; and a
reading specialist to be announced.
