for a wedding trip to Elorida and a
cruise to the Bahamas They will
live in Southfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Shapiro

Miss Shapiro is the granddaughter
of Mrs Mary Rudin and the late
Morris Rudin of Ft Lauderdale,
Fla., and Mrs. Faye Levenson of
Skokie. Ill
Mr. Steine is the grandson of the
late Hyman Soloman of Atlanta,
and the late Mr. and Mrs. Max
Steine of Sparta, Ga.
The bride-elect received a
bachelor of science degree and is
working on her master’s degree in
social work at the University of
Georgia.
The future bridegroom received
a bachelor of science degree from
Georgia State University. He is
working as associate camp director
and caretaker of Camp Barney
Medintz in Cleveland, Ga.

Cathy-Ann Rosen and Dr.
William Clark Chambers Jr. were
married Dec. 4, at The Mansion in
Dallas, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs.
Bernard Robert Cohen and the
late Ira J. Rosen. The
bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and
Mrs. William Clark Chambers Sr ,
of Mt. Pleasant, Texas
After a wedding trip to Mexico,
the couple will live in Dallas.

Dr. and Mrs. Steve Haskins
Mr. and Mrs. David Bursztyn of
Hallandale. Fla., announce the
marriage of their daughter, Mary,
to Dr. Steve Haskins, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Sidney Haskins of
Atlanta.
The wedding took place
on Sunday, Nov. 27, at Beth Jacob
Synagogue. Rabbi Emanuel
Feldman officiated. A reception
and dinner at Colony Square
Hotel followed.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. The bridegroom’s
sisters, Mrs. Chester Rosenberg
and Mrs. David Bock, were the
matrons of honor. The
bridegroom’s best man was his
father.
Mrs. Haskins is the granddaughter
of Mrs. Bracha Shabati and the
late Abraham Shabati of
Jerusalem, and Mr and Mrs. Isaac
Rajchenbach of Hallandale.
Dr. Haskins is the grandson of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Abe Link of
Athens, Ga., and Atlanta, and the
late Mrs. Rose Haskins and the
late Arthur Haskins of Macon.
The couple is living in Houston,
Texas, where Dr. Haskins is
completing a fellowship in
neonatology at the University of
Texas Medical Center.

daughter, Sharna Jan, to Andrew
Sloan, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.
Alton Sloan of Lilburn.
Miss Fagin is the granddaughter
of Mrs. Mary Schoenberg of
Atlanta, and the late Morris L.
Schoenberg, and Mrs. Sara Fagin
of Los Angeles, and the late
Samuel B Fagin of Oklahoma
City.
The bride-elect attended the
University of Georgia and was a
member of Delta Phi Epsilon
Sorority. She is attending Georgia
State University and will graduate
with a degree in education in the
fall. M iss Fagin is a legal secretary
with the law firm of Zusmann,
Small. Stamps & White.
Mr. Sloan is the grandson of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Frank N.
Golden, and the late Mr and Mrs.
William H Sloan of Pickens, S.C.
The future bridegroom
graduated from the Spartan
School of Aeronautics in Tulsa,
Okla. Mr. Sloan was a flight
instructor and charter pilot for
Butler Aviation in Savannah. He is
a corporate pilot with Citizens and
Southern National Bank in
Atlanta.
A March wedding is planned.
