Dr. Louis M. Schlesinger of
Warner Robins has been selected
for inclusion in the 1986 edition of
"Who’s Who in the South and
Southwest.” Dr. Schlesinger is Chief,
Optometry Services at Robins Air
Force Base in Warner Robins.
He is a fellow of the American
College of Optometric Physicians.
He is also a member of the Armed
Forces Optometric Society, the
American Optometric Association
and the Texas Optometry Associa
tion.
Martin Prince of Queens, N.Y.,
a national campaign co-chairman
of the Israel Bond Organization,
will serve as national tourism
chairman of State of Israel Bonds
in conjunction with the international
“Operation Independence” effort
to promote and encourage tourism
to Israel.

elected chairman of “Project Basic,”
a committee which supports excel
lence in education in Savannah
and Chatham County.

Tenn., was the honoree of $10,000
gift to Hadassah by an anonymous
donor. She was recognized for her
"unwavering committment to
Hadassah.”
Mira is chairman of the Southern
Hadassah Zionist Youth Commis
sion. which oversees the 500 youths
in the Southern Region of Young
Judaea.
Jeff Felser of Savannah w as chosen
lor Me rcer University Law School’s
Philip C. Jessup international law
moot court team.
He w ill compete at Wake Forrest
University against law schools from
the United States and over 30
foreign countries.

Adolph Blumenfeld of Savannah
was awarded the medal of honor
by the Lachlan McIntosh chapter
of the Daughters of the American
Revolution.
The award is given to adult,
native-born Americans, who have
made an unusual contribution to
the American heritage.

Residents of the Jewish Home enjoying an afternoon outing with brothers of the Alpha Epsilon Pi
C hapter of Georgia Tech. Ten men from the Home attended a bagel brunch with the fraternity members
and later attended the Georgia Tech-Wake Forest football game at the Georgia Tech stadium.
The residents said they had a “great time” and invited the brothers to join them at "their place" soon
