Julie Hall marries Jeffrey Doorh

of Atlanta announce the mar
riage of their daughter, Julie
f aith, to Jeffrey Quentin Booth,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W.
Booth of Norcross. The cerem
ony took place Oct. 5 at Bulloch
Hall in Roswell, with Judge
Carol Huntstein officiating.
Matron of honor was the
bride’s sister, Lisa Michel. Brides
maids were Deb McNight, sister
of the bridegroom; Cis Booth
and Lynn Booth, sisters-in-law
of the bridegroom; and Sandy
Gardner. Flower girl was Katie
McKnight.
Best man was the bridegroom’s
brother, Frank W. Booth III.
Groomsmen were Mitch Booth
and Kim Booth, brothers of the
bridegroom; Tom McKnight,
brother-in-law of the bridegroom;
and Daniel Highland.
The bride is the granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Horowitz
of Miami Beach and Mr. and
Mrs. Edmund Hall of Rego
Park, N.Y.
The bridegroom is the grand
son of Jessie Mae Booth and the
late Frank W. Booth Sr.
The couple are graduates of
Emory University. The bride
received a bachelor of science
degree in biology and works for
Northside Convalescent Center
in business administration. The

in Finance and works at Barclay’s

The couple honeymooned in
Maui, Hawaii, and live in

Sarina Galanri weds Neil Freedland
Mrs. Ralph I. Galantiannoun
ces the marriage of her daughter,
Sarina Ann, to Neil Allan Freed
land, son of Mrs. Hymen Freed
land of Rochester, N.Y. and the |
late Hymen Freedland. The bride
is also the daughter of the late j
Ralph Galanti.
The ceremony took place j
Sunday, Jan. 12, at Colony
Square Hotel, with Rabbi S.
Robert Ichay officiating.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her mother. Her sister,
Cookie Beiser of L.os Angeles,
was maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Olga Rickoff and Leslie
Abrahams, nieces of the bride,
and C'aren Magdovitz of Bran
don, Fla. The bride’s book was
kept by Nancy Garmon, cousin
of the bride.
1 he bridegroom’s brother,
lerry Freedland of Albany, N.Y.,
was best man. Groomsmen were
Mark Levinstein of Rochester,
N.Y.. Dr. Steven Grunfeld of
Birmingham, Ala., and George
Cavagnaro. Ben Hill and Jona
than Berger were ushers. Ryan
Beiser of Los Angeles, nephew
of the bride, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Freedland graduated
from the University of Georgia
w ith a degree in journalism. She
is employed in institutional sales
with Drexel-Burnham-I ambcrt.
Mr Freedland. a graduate of the
University of Bufialo with a
degree in chemistry', has a master’s
degree in business administration
from Emory University. He is an
investment manager with the
Prudential Realty Group in the
development area.
After a honeymoon sailing in
the Virgin Isles, the couple will
live in Chicago.
Miss Zivi engaged ro Mr. Marks
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zivi of
Knoxville, Tenn., announce the
engagement of their daugher,
Diane Sue, to Matthew Steven
Marks, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Marks of Atlanta and
Augusta.
She is the granddaughter
°* Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Lang
of New Orleans, and the late Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel Zivi of St.
Louis. She is a graduate of the
Bearden High School in Knox
ville and a cum laude graduate
of the University of Georgia
with a bachelor of science degree
in education. She is employed
by the Cobb County school sys
tem as a special education
teacher.
1 he tuture bridegroom is the
grandson of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Max Slotin of Glennville,
Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Matthew Marks of Millen, Ga.
He graduated from Pace Acad
emy and received a bachelor of
business administration degree
in finance from the University of
Texas at Austin and a master’s in
business administration trom
Vanderbilt University. He is
employed by Norrell Services in
Atlanta.
The wedding is planned for
July 6 in Knoxville at Temple
Beth El.
