Focus on Campaign jB6 Zaban pre-schoolers join campaign No one is too young to work on the annual Federation Campaign. Three, 4 and 5-year-olds at the Zaban pre-school got a lesson in tzedaka by raising money for the 19X6 Atlanta Jewish Federation Campaign. Students in the 4-year-old class presented $77 to Laura Dinerman. co-chairman of the Women's Div ision, when they completed their campaign last week. According to their teachers. Phyllis Cohn and Jackie Goldstein, the children baked and sold more than 4.000 cookies to raise money for Cam paign ’X6. The 19 students—Jody Arogeti, Josh Naterman. Michael Borenstein, Michelle Cooper. Adam C/uper. Daniel Eden. Joshua Ehrlich. Charlie Fleisig. Cory Handelsman. Michael Har bour. Aaron Hurst. Deanna Jot- fee, David Margolis. Brett Over- ton. Jeremy Riegel. Heather Safer-Berkman, Lindsay Saripkin. Jeffrey Smith and Lee Warshav. are all “very proud of their efforts." Other pre-school classes at Zaban are still working on their 19X6 Campaign effort. Three-year- olds are performing chores at home to raise money, while 4 and 5-year-olds are selling “original artwork” for Campaign 'X6. Buddy-Up Day’ takes the high road Campaign '86 went on the road last week for "Buddy-Up Day.” According to Buddy-Up Day chairmen Harry Maziar and Michael Schwartz, the program, designed to help complete the 19X6 Atlanta Jewish Federation Cam paign, was an overwhelming suc cess. Twenty-four campaign workers began the day at 8 a.m. with break fast at the Lower Place Hotel. With assignments and maps in hand, they set out in teams of two for a day of face-to-face campaign ing throughout the metro area. Over 100 previous campaign con tributors were visited during the day.
