The bracelets are engraved with the name of a refusnik and are worn until the person is granted permission to leave the Soviet Union. Fri day, April 4, to honor all volun teers who served in the congrega tion’s night shelter for homeless couples during the 1985-86 winter season. Reverend Andy Loving of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Soup Kitchen and Street Ministry will deliver a spiritual message on the homeless and hungry in the At lanta community. B’nai B’rith convention The Georgia B’nai B’rith Association held its annual conven tion recently at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. The event included an installation banquet honoring incoming president Bruce Gaynes, an address by U.S. Rep. Wyche Fowler and an introduction by former U.S. Rep. Elliott Levitas. Workshops were conducted by Herb Wollner, Ron ( hanin and Neil Rosen, executive vice presi dent of B’nai B’rith District Five.
