Thaler-Herz
Robbi and Richard Carrier of
Atlanta announce the engagement
of their sister, Patricia Ann Thaler,
to Daniel Herz, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Eugene Herz of Chicago.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Hirsch
of Baltimore, and the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Thaler
of Miami.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of Irene Spitz and Elsie
Sinsheimer.
Ms. Thaler is a marketing major
at Florida International Univer
sity. Mr. Herz is employed with
North Carolina National Bank.
A December wedding is planned.

Haskins-Kublin
Cynthia Gayle Haskins of
Tampa, Fla., and Brett Lawrence
Kublin of North Miami Beach,
Fla., were married March 22 at
Rodeph Sholom Synagogue in
Tampa. Rabbi Kenneth Berger
and Cantor William Hauben offi
ciated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Burt Haskins of Tampa
and the granddaughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Haskins of Macon, and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mos-
kowitz of Atlanta. The bride
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Alvin Kublin of North Miami
Beach.
The bride’s maid of honor was
her sister, Jodi Haskins of Tampa.
Bridesmaids were her cousin, Terri
Haskins of Macon; Jennifer Hus
ton and Lynn McGugan, both of
Jacksonville; Kerry Ward of
Davie, Fla.; and Nancy Turkel of
Tampa.
The bridegroom’s best man was
his father. Ushers were Michael
Kublin of Sunrise, Fla., brother of
the bridegroom; Richard Haskins
of Macon; Doug Fields of Miami
Springs; Luke Unglaub of Talla
hassee; and Scoh Jones of Tampa.
Following the ceremony, a din
ner and reception were held at Tampa
Airport Marriot Hotel.
The bride is employed as a sales
representative for Cosmeir, Inc.
and the bridegroom is general
manager of Simpca Recycling, Inc.
After honeymooning in Mexico,
the couple will reside in North
Miami Beach.
