Al Davis joins Woodruff Center Circle
Alfred A. Davis, chairman of
the board of National Distributing
Company, has made a gift of SI
million to the Woodruff Arts Cen
ter. forming the Alfred A. Davis
Endow merit. Davis joins the Wood
ruff Center Circle, a leadership
group of supporters, which in
cluded Woodruff himself, who
have provided SI million or more
in endowment, building or other
capital funding tor the center since
its inception.
"Mr. Davis has long been
known as a leading Atlantan,
whose citizenship as a business
man and civic leader sets a high
standard.” said Ivan Allen 111.

In a resolution adopted by the
Georgia State Senate on March 6,
the members expressed their "great
admiration for the State of Israel
and (express) their deep apprecia
tion for its loyal friendship to the
United States.”
