Mr. and Mrs. Howard Zimmer
man of Chicago announce the en
gagement of their daughter, Susan
F.llen, to Cary Ulman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Ulman of At
lanta.
Ms. Zimmerman received her
B.A. degree in finance Irom the
University of Illinois. She is em
ployed by Price Associates of C hi-
cago.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Ulman of Atlanta, and the
late Dr. and Mrs. Charles Saks of
Syracuse, N.Y.
Mr. Ulman graduated summa
cum laude from the University ot
North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
where he was a member of Phi Beta
Kappa, and the Order of the Gol
den Fleece. He received his MBA
degree from Northwestern Univer
sity.
He is employed by Goldman and
Company of Chicago where is is
vice president of acquisitions.
A September wedding is planned.

Rachelle Leaf of Atlanta and
Sam Berliner of Savannah were
married March 16at Congregation
Beth Jacob, with immediate family

married Nov. 24, at Ahavath Achim
Synagogue. Rabbi Arnold Good
man and Cantor Isaac Goodfriend
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
David Niren and the late Luba
Niren of West Caldwell, N.J. The
bridegroom is the son of Leonard
and Joan Hayet of Miami.
Maid of honor was Laurie Cas-
sei. Best man was Keith Housman.
Also participating in the ceremony
were the bridegroom’s grand
mother, Fay Braverman of Miami,
Maynard Braverman of Chicago,
Allan and Mindy Grinnan of Jack
sonville, Fla., Dr. Neil Niren and
Dr. Lawrence Niren, both of Pitts
burgh, and the bride’s aunt. Tola
Melcer, of Paris, France.
The couple’s wedding march
was composed and performed by
Mark and Gary Blackman.
The bride is completing her
dermatology residency at Emory
University and will begin private
practice in Roswell in August. The
bridegroom is an electrical engineer
and senior consultant at Energy
Management Associates in Atlanta.
The couple honeymooned in St.
Thomas.
Miss Colin engaged to Mr. Lutz
