M iss Kaplan is a graduate of the Hebrew Academy and the Yeshiva High School of Atlanta, and re cently graduated from the Univer sity of Pennsylvania with a degree in mathematics. Mr. Cohen, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madi son, is completing his third year at the Medical College of Wisconsin and will do part of his senior year rotation in Israel. May II. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Duffy. Rabbi l ewis Kam rass performed the ceremony. 1 he bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew I . Kur/awa of Palm Harbor. Fla. 1 he bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Kamrass of Atlanta. He is the grandson of Mrs. Regina Gold man of Atlanta, and the late Jack Goldman, and Mrs. Edith Philbin of Ocala, Fla. The bride's sister. Debra Seifert, was matron of honor. Coleen Duffy, sister of the bride, and Julie Kamrass, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Michael Duffy. Pamela Conway and Dea Cheshire kept the bride’s book. Best man was the bridegroom’s father. Groomsmen were Mark T. Kur/awa, brother of the bride, Stuart Cohen and Arthur Seidel. The bride attended St. Peters burg Junior College and the Uni versity of South Florida. She is employed as a registered nurse at Northside Hospital. The bridegroom attended the University of Georgia. He is an accounts manager at the Coca- Cola Bottling Company. After honeymooning in Florida, the couple will live in Atlanta. Dr. and Mrs. Merlin Miss Mescon weds Dr. Merlin Wedding and engagement announcements must be typed, double spaced and include telephone contact number. There is a $7.50 charge for a picture of the bride alone, $12.50 for a pic ture of the couple. There is no charge for the announce ment w ithout a picture. Dr. and Mrs. Michael H. Mes con announce the marriage of their daughter, Nance Lu, to Dr. Ste phen 1. Merlin, son of Dr. and Mrs. Harvey E. Merlin. The marriage was performed March 9 at The Temple, with Rabbi Alvin Sugarman officiating. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Florence Mescon of North Miami Beach. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Turner and Israel Merlin, all of Atlanta. Matron of honor was Debbie Mescon, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Robyn Green- wald, Andrea Pike, Joyce Alha- deff, Laurie Ginburg and Jenifer Orenstein, cousin of the bride groom. Donna Zuckerman kept the bride’s book. The bridegroom’s brother, Lau rence Merlin, was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Tim Mescon and Jed Mescon, brothers of the bride; Jason Orenstein, and Greg Orenstein, cousins of the bride groom; David Ginburg and Dr. Bucky McNeill.
