Sen. Lautenberg to speak at Bondsdinnerfor Nunn United States Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg of New Jersey will be the guest speaker at the Atlanta Israel Bonds Dinner honoring Senator Sam Nunn. The dinner will be held Monday, June 2, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The recep tion begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30. Lautenberg, a long time activist in Jewish affairs, served as the national general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal. Lautenberg, a native of Pater son, N.J. is the son of immigrant parents. After serving in Europe during World War 11, he gradu ated from the Columbia School of Business under the G.l. Bill with a B.S. degree in economics. He is the co-founder of Auto matic Data Processing Inc. and was the major force in its develop ment. Today ADP is the world’s largest computing firm. Lautenberg was elected to the United States Senate in 1983. He Barbara Morgan, who was the backup candidate for Christa Mc- Auliffe for the NASA Teacher in Space Program, will speak at a high tea gathering for charter members of the newly formed Auxiliary of the Atlanta Jewish Home at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. The NASA Space Program Teacher- naut is the niece of Atlantans Jean and Herb Cohen. Ms. Morgan presently resides in Fresno, Calif., where since 1979 she has taught at McCall-Donnelly Elementary School. She will assume a leadership role in the NASA Teacher in Space Program when the shuttle* program resumes. Meanwhile, she will continue to promote the educational goals of the program, and has committed herself to an active role in her state to motivate young people to expand their horizons in preparation for the future. In addition to Ms. Morgan, the program at the Ritz-Carlton Buck- head will include Betty Tieman, past president of the Columbus, Ohio, Jewish Home, and informal modeling from Rive Gauche.
