Galgalim with ‘ friends."
Final AJF session will illustrate
Israel’s cultural, ethnic diversity
The ethnic diversity and cultural
creativity which characterize Israeli
society will be brought to life by
"Galgalim,” in concert at White
Hall on the Emory University
campus—at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday,
June 11.
The program is the fifth and
final session of the five-part public
symposium, “Jewish Renewal in
the Post-Modern World,” being
co-sponsored by the Atlanta Jew
ish Federation and the National
Foundation for Jewish Culture.
“Galgalim" is a two-member
troupe, made up of an American-
born oleh, Brynie, and a native-
born Israeli, Moshe. The Broad
way-like production blends music,
film and theater in a unique, multi-
media journey through modern
Israel which will appeal to the
entire family. By expressing their
own emotions and aspirations in
the performance, the two dynamic
stage personalities convey the hopes
and dreams of the state of Israel.
The program is co-sponsored by
the Federation’s Young Leadership
Council. Ronald Balser is chair
man for the evening.
