The ceremony took place July 6 at Temple Beth-El in Pensacola, with Rabbi William Schwartz offi ciating. A reception and dinner followed at the Hilton Hotel. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Lisa McCuiston of LaGrange was maid of honor. Brides maids were Laura Applebaum of Miami, Debbie Aronoff of Mem phis, Tenn., Elana Bildner of Bos ton, Mass., Karen Bira of Pensa cola, Mrs. Julie Guyer of Atlanta and Ellen Sklar, cousin of the bride, of Stamford, Conn. Dr. Epstein was his son's best man. Groomsmen were Robby Brazel, brother of the bride; Robert Epstein and Dr. Benjamin Epstein, broth ers of the bridegroom; Phil Hor- witzofSt. Louis, Mo., Lance Lourie of Atlanta, Si Sater of Atlanta and Brian Kahn of Memphis. Brian Pomerant, cousin of the bride, of Miami was ringbearer. Amy Pomerant of Miami was flower girl. Mrs. Epstein graduated from Tulane University and received her master’s degree in speech pathol ogy from Memphis State. Mr. Epstein graduated from Tu- Mrs. Daniel Epstein lane University and attends the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis. After a cruise in the Caribbean, the couple will live in Memphis. The bride-elect received her bachelor of science degree in com putational math and Spanish frQm Tufts University. She is a systems engineer for IBM. The future bridegroom received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Alabama, his doctorate of laws degree from the University of Ala bama, and his master of law in tax ation from New York University. He is an attorney, with the firm of Altman, Kritzer, and Levick. A fall wedding is planned. Burman-Schlosser Melanie and David Schlosser and Heather and Richard Burman announce the marriage of their parents, Marsha Linkwald- Schlosser and John Rowland Burman, on June 6. Mrs. Burman is the daughter of Lena Ronin Linkwald of Atlanta, and the late William Linkwald. She is employed by Lithonia Light ing as director of marketing train ing and development. Mr. Burman is the son of Eileen and John Edward Burman of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is employed by W. R. Grace as a sales manager in their Homecenter Di vision. After their honeymoon at St. Simons, Mr. and Mrs. Burman will live in Atlanta. Sherri Dreyer Meyer and Aron Charles Palefsky of Atlanta were married July 6 at Ahavath Achim Synagogue. Rabbi Marvin Rich ardson and Cantor Isaac Good- friend officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dreyer of Atlanta. Grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Froug, and Mrs. Syl via Chisen of Atlanta. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Ethel C. Meddin of Savan nah, and the late Abram Pete Palef sky. Grandparents are Mrs. Bessie Cohen of Savannah and the late Louis Cohen, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Aron Palefsky. The bride’s sister, Susan Dreyer, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Dreyer, sister of the bride; and Sherry Palefsky Med din, the bride’s sister-in-law. Kelli Meyer, the bride’s daughter, was flower girl. Best man was Walter Jospin. Groomsmen were Louis Meddin, brother of the bridegroom, and Robert Blumenfeld of New York. The bride is employed by Pace Academy. The bridegroom is em ployed by CFS Continental Foods. After a honeymoon in Kaana- poli Beach, Maui, Hawaii, the couple is living in Atlanta. Tillem-Young Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Tillem of Atlanta announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendi Gay, to Brian Scott Young, son of Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Young of Stuart, Fla., and Boston, Mass. Wendi is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bella Tillem of Atlanta and the late Ben Tillem, and the late Anna and Morris Slesinger of Bishopville, S.C., and Atlanta. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of busi ness administration in accounting, Wendi is employed by Atco Inter national in the accounting depart ment. Brian is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Silverman of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Young of Brock ton, Mass. Brian received a bachelor of science degree with honors in fi nance from Lehigh University. He expects to graduate in June 1987 from the University of Georgia with a master’s degree in taxation. He is employed by Johnson, Lane, Space, Smith and Company in Atlanta. The wedding is planned for June 1987 at Ahavath Achim Synagogue.
