Mrs. Irvin (Bernice) Daitch of Augusta was chosen as the 1986 “Sisterhood Woman of the Year” at the 20th anniver sary donor luncheon at Adas Yeshurun Synagogue. Mrs. Daitch has served in the sisterhood for 27 years. Sheila Segal of Philadelphia has been named the eighth editor of the Jewish Publication Society. * * * Dr. Lawrence Michael Arkin, son of Dr. and Mrs. Murray C. Victor of Savan nah has been honored for 73 years of continuous membership in Tra velers Protective Association of America. He joined the TPA in 1913 and was active in Savannah Post A until a few years ago. Herman and Nina Fishman of Atlanta have purchased a gardtn of 200 trees to be planted in Israel through the Jewish National Fund, in honor of their “double chai” anniversary.
