Rabbi Saul Rubin officiated. The bride is the daughter of Louis O. Hertz of Atlanta and Mrs. David Meddin of Savannah. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Nathan Weiss of Hun tington, N.Y. Given in marriage by her par ents, the bride had her sisters, Ms. Karen Hertz of San Francisco and Ms. Claire Hertz, as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert Glass of Tulsa, Okla., Ms. Elaine Adcock of Augusta, Mrs. Nina- marie Maragioglio of Springfield, Va., and Mrs. Glenn Wasser of Atlanta. Alan Weiss of Montreal was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Dr.Paul Louis Hertz of Spring- feild, Va., Frederick Oltarsh of New York, Stanford Terry of Northbrook, Ill., Brian Krakower of Washington, D.C., Steven Schenker of Chicago and Glenn Gordon Centerport, N.Y. Flower girl was Joia Maragio- Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weiss glio Hertz of Springfield, niece of the bride. Ringbearers were Lyons Friedman Weil and Adam Fried man Weil of New Orleans, cousins- of the bride. After a reception at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, the couple left for a wedding trip to Antigua. They will live in New Orleans, where they will complete their medical training at Tulane Medi cal School. Scharf-Hagan Ms. Ellen Judith Scharf and Jef frey Earl Hagan of Savannah were married Aug. 2 in Mulberry Inn. Judge Michael Karpf officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Scharf. The bride groom is the son of Mrs. Helen Hagan and the late Milton Hagan. Given in marriage by her father, the bride had her sister, Mrs. Jules Nissim of Dallas, as matron of honor. Mrs. John Sullivan, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. Ross Hagan was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Paul Scharf of Atlanta, brother of the bride; and Michael Hobbs. After a reception at the Savan nah Golf Club, the couple left for a wedding trip to Canada. They will live in Savannah. Renert-Winston Diane Ellen Renert of Atlanta, daughter of Mrs. Miiton Katcher (Alice Renert) of Florham Park, N.J., and Sidney Renert of Long- wood, Fla., is engaged to Dr. Jef frey Lee Winston of Atlanta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Winston of Milwaukee, Wis. The bride-elect received her bachelor degree in psychology from Emory University and is start ing her own corporation as a do mestic service contractor. The future bridegroom received his medical degree from the Uni versity of Wisconsin at Madison. He is a psychiatrist in private prac tice in Atlanta. A spring wedding is planned at Heska Amuna Synagogue in Knox ville, Tenn. Goldberg-Kaufman Ms. Sandra Ann Goldberg and Michael Alan Kaufman were mar ried July 19. Rabbi David Green berg officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Goldberg. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kaufman of Hallan dale, Fla. Mr. Kaufman is the grandson of Mrs. Ray Kaufman of Hollywood, Fla. The couple will live in New York.
