Dr. Blumenthal is president of the Hebrew Academy. ‘Hebrew Academy of Tomorrow’ sets ground-breaking ceremonies r!j Interiors X7M 7 5/umAa*/a*i 0$aact, .APM ',W//an/a SC$27 By Rita Ground-breaking ceremonies for “The Hebrew Academy of Tomor row” will take place at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Northland Drive and Highpoint Road, according to Dr. Jerry Blumenthal, president of the Hebrew Academy. The program, marking the begin ning of construction of the new facility, will focus on the students who will be occupying the new building. Eighteen (Chai) Hebrew Academy students will symbolically break ground, while their class mates celebrate their future school building through song. The cere monies will also include a presen tation of architectural renderings and plans for the new facility. Local politicians, neighbors and the general public have been invited to join in the celebration. Parking AT THE DEPOT NOV. 15 is available at the Crawford Com pany at 5260 Glenridge Drive. Shuttle bus service to the site will be provided. Sheila Minsk heads up the com mittee responsible for planning the ground-breaking ceremonies. Ser ving with her are Eliot and Ellen Amovitz, Linda Bressler, S. Alan Cohn, Gertrude and Ed Krick, Bobbie Leff, Judy Merlin, Judy Sherman, Bootsie Siegal and Saba Silverman.
