Barbara B. Balser of Atlanta
was recently named executive
vice president of the Manage
ment Compensation Group
(MCG) Southeast Incorporated.
Prior to becoming a partner in
the company, she was president
of MCG Financial Corporation.
Ms. Balser is chairman of the

for the Committee of 200, a
member of the board of direc

Separation Corporation. She is

nounced recently that Sherman A.
Cohen has become associated with
the firm in its Atlanta office.
Cohen received his bachelor of
science degree in economics, with
majors in finance and accounting
from the Wharton School, Univer
sity of Pennsylvania, and his J.D.
from the Columbia University
School of Law. He was a Harlan
Fiske Stone scholar.
He practices in the corporate
and securities law area, in addition
to handling mergers and acquisi
tions.

the position for one year.
