This Simchat Torah Rally for Soviet Jews will bring together the Jewish community; political leadership at the federal, state and local levels; religious and business leaders from Atlanta in a display of solidarity for the 2.5 million Jews of the Soviet Union. Representation expands at AJF with board of trustees members As part of a continuing effort to broaden community representation on the board, four new institu tional trustee positions have been added to the Atlanta Jewish Fed eration’s board of trustees. Atlanta T echnion sets plans for annual event Robert Rinzler, chairman of the board of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Technion Society- Israel Institute of Technology, has announced that the annual Atlanta Dinner will be held on Sunday evening. Sept. 28, at the Peachtree Plaza Hotel, with the reception beginning at 7 p.m. The dinner chairmen will be Barbara and Daniel Kingloff. Their committee is in formation and will be an nounced later. Technion is the oldest techno logical university in Israel. It is considered to be the MIT of the Middle East graduating 75 percent of Israel’s engineers.
