T0-6 A bleyi© r Three professionals have joined the Atlanta Jewish Federation staff, according to David Sarnat, execu tive director. Mike Pousman is Endowment Fund director, Helaine Fruchtman is a planning associate and Beth Gluck, staff associate. Pousman, a native of New York, comes to Atlanta from Ft. Wayne, Ind., where he was executive direc tor of the Ft. Wayne Jewish Feder ation. He brings to his new posi tion more than 15 years of experi ence working for Jewish organiza tions in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Israel. He began his career in social work as Florida Regional Director of Young Judaea. Pousman went on to serve as the executive director of the Jewish Community Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He holds a law degree from the University of Tennessee. He replaces Nachman Rosenberg who left the Federation to return to Israel. Helaine Fruchtman, a native of Milwaukee, Wis., recently received a masters degree in social work from the Wurzweiller School of Social Work of Yeshiva University in New York City. While studying for her MSW, Ms. Fruchtman completed internships with the Milwaukee Federation and Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly in Boston. She holds a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Vanderbilt University in Tennes see. Her responsibilities with the Atlanta Jewish Federation will in clude community planning and al locations. She is replacing David Seed, who left the Federation to become an assistant rabbi in Mil waukee. Mike Pousman, Beth Gluck and new staff positions. Beth Gluck comes to Federation upon completing three years as Southeast regional director of Young Judaea. A native of Pitts burgh, she has lived in Israel and has traveled to the Soviet Union. She received her bachelor of arts degree in sociology and masters degree in social work from Washington Uni versity in St. Louis. Ms. Gluck’s new responsiblities will include working with the Young Leader- Helaine Fruchtman discuss their ship Council, Shalom Atlanta pro gram, World Wide Jewish Affairs and Urban Affairs subcommittees of the Community Relations Com mittee. All three individuals add enthu siasm and creativity along with experience to the Federation. They have already made significant strides in their new positions and will be a valuable addition to the entire Jewish community. JNF in Israel to host former Dutch queen JERUSALEM (JTA)—Former Queen Juliana of The Neatherlands will pay her first visit to Israel next month as the guest of the Jewish National Fund, accompanied by her husband, Prince Bernhard. She is also sche duled to dedicate a grove of trees at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Mem orial in the names of two “right eous gentiles,” residents of a Dutch village who saved local Jews from the Nazis during World War II. Juliana will plant a tree at Moshav Kadesh Barnea in the Negev, which has been adopted by the Dutch as their own special pro ject. Although officials here empha size that the visit by the royal cou ple will be a private one, they are scheduled to meet with President Chaim Herzog, Foreign Minister Yitzhak Shamir and Mayor Teddy Kollek of Jerusalem. Juliana and Bernhard are in their 70s. Nevertheless, Bernhard plans to pilot the royal jet from Amster dam to Ben-Gurion Airport.
