Ahavath Achim Congregation
will hold its first singles dinner of
the year on Friday, Sept. 19, at the
synagogue. The evening will begin
at 6:30 p.m. with dinner, followed
by congregational services. After
services there will be an Oneg
Shabbat and a discussion on future
plans for the AA singles group.
The cost of the dinner is $10.
Reservations are by check sent to
the synagogue by Sept. 15, or can
be made by calling Dana Scott,

United Synagogue Singles pres
ents two 12-day trips to Israel,
departing Dec. 24, and returning
Jan. 4.
One, for singles 22-35, will in
clude touring in the Negev desert,
and a stay at the winter resort of
Eilat. Cost is $1,199 a person
(double occupancy).
The second trip, for singles 35-
60, will offer a chance to tour Israel
in style, and will include special
events with Israeli singles, a New
Year’s Eve Gala, and five-star ac
commodations. The cost is $1,499
per person (double occupancy).

sending a $100 check, payable to
