We run two summer camps for
youngsters. Our award-winning
monthly magazine reflects
contemporary Jewish life and
culture. Our museum in Wash
ington attracts tourists and
scholars from around the world.
We believe it is important to
strengthen Jewish identity and
commitment, and we have been
working at it for 143 years. Our
programs are underway in hun
dreds of towns and cities, usually
far from the glare of publicity
and the sound of applause.
They are quiet acts of caring
and love, small miracles.
W are B’nai B’rith,
world’s largest Jewish service
organization.
We feed the hungry. We house
the elderly. We educate and
train the young. We fight bigotry
and persecution. We seek to
perpetuate the traditions of our
people.
You may not know much about
us, but chances are we’ve
touched your life. Your kids
may belong to the B’nai B’rith
Youth Organization; if they’re at
college, they’ve found a home
away from home at B’nai B’rith
Hillel. The vigilance and per
severance of our B’nai B’rith
Anti-Defamation League ex
poses the poisonous presence
of anti-Semitism. Social pro
grams. especially as they relate
to women, are championed by
B’nai B’rith Women. Our proj
ects and programs in Israel are
on-going, and they predate the
creation of the state.
We have departments and
commissions devoted to com
munity volunteer sendee, con
tinuing education, international
political affairs, cult education,
senior citizen’s housing, career
and counselling sendees, tours
and seminars in Israel.
