SingleScene Mrs. Edith Blicksilver will address the Atlanta Chapter City of Hope at a dessert and coffee meetingat 1:30p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Colonnade restaurant, 1879 Cheshire Bridge Road. Mrs. Blicksilver, noted author and English professor at Georgia Tech, will speak on “The Stresses of the American Ethnic Women and How They Cope.” Donation is $3 a person by Oct. 17. Jewish Young Couples plan skating, pizza party The Jewish Young Couples will meet at Sparkles Roller Rink in Marietta for a skating party at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8. Musically speaking Congregation Etz Chaim’s Junior Choir recently performed for the first time at Shabbat services. The youngsters have studied with Rabbi Shalom Lewis for a year learning various melodies and songs. They introduced new tunes to the Shacharit and Musaf services, as well as singing five Z'mirote (Shabbat songs) for the congregation. The children study weekly and plan to perform several times a year as they expand their repertoire. Organizations City of Hope to hear Mrs. Edith Blicksilver Kaleidoscope invites all seniors to dinner at Eden’s Cafe, 2167 Bri- arcliff Road at LaVista, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28. The third annual nationwide Jewish Singles Supercruise, spon sored by the St. Louis Jewish Com munity Centers Association, is set for February and March 1987, aboard the m/s Tropicale of Car nival Cruise Lines. Jewish singles, 20-40, will sail on Feb. 22, singles 40-60 on March 1. The Tropicale sails from Los Angeles to the Mexican ports of Mazatlan; Puerto Vallarta; and Cabo San Lucas. Approximately one day is spent in each port with three full days at sea.
