United Synagogue Singles pre
sents two 12-day trips to Israel,
departing Dec. 24, and returning
Jan. 4.
One, for singles 22-35, will
include touring in the Negev
desert, and a stay at the winter
resort of Eilat. Cost is $1,199 a
person (double occupancy).
The second trip, for singles 35-
60, will offer a chance to tour
Israel in style, and will include
special events with Israeli singles,
a New Year’s Eve Gala, and five-
star accommodations. The cost
is $1,499 per person (double
occupancy).

sending a $100 check, payable to
“United Synagogue Singles," to

The Jewish Singles Alliance
will host a program entitled “Let
Us Entertain You” at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 2 at The Temple.
The Jewish Singles Alliance is a
coalition of the singles programs
from the Reform Congregations
in the Atlanta area. However the
programs sponsored by JSA are
open to all Jewish singles.
The program will be a sam
pling of entertainment from clubs
and theaters in the Atlanta area.
Included in the program are Libby
Whittemorefrom Upstairs at Gene
and Gabe’s, Jerry Farber from
Jerry Farber’s Place, Tom &
Harriett from The Lark & the
Dove, as well as representatives
from The Theatrical Outfit, The
Dancer’s Collective, Blues Har
bor and George the II Pub. Cafe
290, The Point, Academy Theater,
Time Square, and Cafe Erewhon
who will explain the type of
entertainment their club or theater
offers.
Following the entertainment,
there w ill be a sampling of foods

The third annual nationwide
Jewish Singles Supercruise, spon
sored by the St. Louis Jewish
Community Centers Association,
is set for February and March
1987, aboard the m/s Tropicale
of Carnival Cruise Lines.
Jewish singles, 20-40, will sail
on Feb. 22, singles 40-60 on
March 1.
The Tropicale sails from Los
Angeles to the Mexican ports of
Mazatlan; Puerto Vallarta; and
Cabo San Lucas. Approximately
one day is spent in each port with
three full days at sea. For more

Yarrow in concert
Peter Yarrow of the Peter, Paul and Mary trio will appear in
concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15. The concert will be held in the
Glenn Memorial Auditorium on the Emory University campus. The
Reform Jewish Students Committee of Emory will sponsor the
concert.
Tickets are $7 for general admission and can be purchased at the
Emory Student Ticket counter and all Reform congregations in the
