Cafe Dizengoff
One of the most exciting new program ideas in
many a year debuts on Saturday, Dec. 20. It’s called
“Cafe Dizengoff.” Modeled after a program at the
.ICC in Minneapolis, it provides a sampling of Israel,
combining music, education, Middle-Eastern food, all
in an informal cabaret atmosphere. This first Cafe
features Professor Eliezar D. Jaffe, visiting Israeli
scholar from Yale University’s School of Social
Work. That's the informational part. Then there's the
Center’s Children’s Acting Troupe’s short production
of “Chana’s Sabbath Dress.” That’s the entertain
ment. Our Cafe also features everyone’s favorite
Israeli food, falafel. Mark this date on your calendar.
For only a $2 admission you can relive a little bit of
Eretz Yisroel.
