BBW regions will merge
The Southeastern and Mid-
Atlantic Regions of B’nai B'rith
Women will he merging into one
region in the spring of 19X8. T he
new region will encompass and
bring together B’nai B’rith
Women in Washington, D.C.,
Virginia. West Virginia, Mary
land, North Carolina, South
Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas,
Mississippi. Tennessee, Georgia
and the Panhandle of Florida.
As a first step in the merger,
the two regions will be holding a
Cluster Conference from May
I 5-1 7. 1987, at the Holiday Inn in
Virginia Beach. The theme for
the conference will be “From
Generation to Generation” (L’Dor
V'Dor) w ith programs relating to
generations past present and
future. Conference chairmen are
Debbie Shmerlingol Birmingham,
from the Southeastern Region;
and Terri Catheart of Charlotte,
from the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The two regions recently held
a joint regional board meeting in
Atlanta with 44 women attend
ing. It was led by Margie Stein-
