Mis mother was a single parent. When he moved to Atlanta, he joined the PAl. Program. As a young participant in the Big Brother program in Cincinna ti, Gud said he was able to com municate with someone other than his mother; with someone, he said, “who was more objective and less critical.” As an adult in the program, he contends he gets as much out of it as his younger pal.
