I IIA \ E now in the hands of the Engraver, which

Owing to the great number of Lota into wh:eh tho
County has been divided, paticularly the Gold Region

have all those numbers distinctly and accurately laid
dow n, I have thought n advisable to form the Map into
separate and detached Sections, which I designed as
Gold Map and Lond Map.
All the Land Di- -icts in the Territory are laid down
on one sheet, auu constitute a distinct and separate Map
by themselves.
* The districts reserved and surveyed as Gold Districts
nr«* divided into three sheets of Mans. Districts No 1*
2, 3. 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15, ot the First Scctior/
form the first Map. 1
Districth No. 1,2,3, 14. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20,21

the Third Section, and Districts,No. 1,2, 3,16,and 17,of
the Fourth section, form the Third .Map. On these
maps w ill be found ouch District in the Territory, w ith
every square Lot of Land and fraction distinctly laid
down and numbered—all Mountains, Rivers, Creeks,
Branches, Ferries, &,c. are correctly und faithfully de
lineated.
