Hall Sheriff’s Sales.
On the first Tuesday in September next,
he sold before Iho Court House door in
the town of Gainesville, Hall county, within
the usual hours of sale.the following property, to w it.
Ouc Lot of Land containing 250 Acres
more or less, adjoining. Clark and Stribling, on the
Cheatatoe River, in said county: levied upon as
the property of Hedgeman Green, to satisfy a fi. fa.
in favor of Andrew F. Wooley vs. said Green and
John Doney security on stay of execution, issued
from Hall Superior Court. Also, two acres of land,
more or less, on Chestateo river, with a Grist and
Saw Mill thereon, ns his property, whereon said
Green resides.
' One Hundred Acres of Land, more or
less, whereon John Brown now resides, together with
a quantity of Bed Clothing : levied on as the prop
erty of Elijah Hulsey, to satisfy a fi. fa. issued from
Ha’ll Superior Court, in favor of Seaton Grantland
vs. Elijah Hulsey and Enoch Rodgers socurity.—

The Tract or Parcel of Land whereon
Isaac Sowell now resides, containing 20 acres, more
or loss, with all of the improvements thereon ; Ipvicd

Sowell and others, from Hall Superior Court.
Lois No. 8, 9, 24 and 25, in the town of
Gainesville, being the lots now occupied by Allen

The astronomical calculations have been made by
Mr. Thomas P. Ashmore, of Lincoln County, Geor.
gia. That this gentleman has ably and perfectly fui*
filled the task he undertook to perform, wo are well
assured; that those who intend to patronize a native
Georgian, in his first effort in this branch of science,
will not be disappointed, wo are also well assured.
We would wish that we could speak as confidently
of the miscellaneous parts of tho Almanac, as we do
of the astronomical calculations, and which will be
under the immediate control of the publishers.
Time of high water at Savannah is included in
the calculations.
