TWENTY DAYS LATER FROM EU-
ROPE.
The British Steam ship Rovul William,
Cap!. SwhIiisoii, was announced by Telegraph
about 8 o’clock yesterday afternoon, and
about C o’nclck we received by her files of the
Loudon Sun, Morning Herald, Times, and
Shipping Gazette, to the 4th iust. inclusive,
and Li' erpnol papers to the fill!.
The Royul William, wc understand, hud
eleven days of head w inds and gales, and ac.
complishcd half the passage in seven days.
The Coronation took place June 28th. and
of course occupies n great space in the papers,
ns well before as aftei the date of the trans
action.
Of general news there is not much, not.
withstanding the advices arc twenty days la.
ter than before received.
The government forces in Spain, have
gained several fresh successes, and there
seems now to he some prospect that this ru
bious war may be brought to a close.
A declaration of independence was report-
cd to huve been made by Maboine.t Ali, the
Pacha of Egypt, heretofore tributary to Tur-
key. Thu latest accounts go rather to dis.
countenance the rumor.
The Cholera, or something similar to it,
has re-appcared at Berlin.
It was reported in Naples that the King of
Sardinia, has been visited with insanity.
There was an attempt at Revolution in Por
tugal, on the 14th June, but without success.

were soon after seen hastening to the point
where was to he exhibited the gorgeous spec-

the doors of the Abbey were opened, and ma
ny of'those having the privilege entered short,
ly after that time, and carriages continued to
arrive in a rapid succession and -set down their
Company for several hours. So anxious were
pnrties to secure seals, that the galleries erect,

past tour.
Troops and police were brought out during
the morning to occupy the hue ol route.—
The procession started from the New Palace
n few minutes after ten. The varied costumes
as steady in her bearing, notwithstanding the
fatigues of the day, ns when she set out in the
morning, nod recognized hy her graceful ac

The night presented a scene of indcscriha-
ble lustre from the illuminations throughout
all the principal squares and streets ot the
metropolis, the inhabitants vicing with each
other in doing honor to this interesting occa
sion. There was also a brilliant display ot
fire-works in Hyde park.

Cotting, who pronounces it strongly impregnated
with Lime and Sulphate of Magnesia, with a less
quantity of Sulphur and a small trace of Iron. Tho
happy combination of which is thought by some med.

to be better adapted to Dyspeptics, Liver Diseases,

the Store recently occupied by GEORGE A.
a:
ans as innnitestnlions ol the disposition ol the
of the foreign ambassadors and tho other hi- ) Government to redress their grievances, and

much vjd mi ration. The approach of Her
Majesty’s state carriage was the signal for
the kindliest and most affectionate demons!ra-

b]uo«-; many were the fervent blessings ut-
tered as Her Majesty gracefully bent forward,
acknowledged these and many touching de
monstrations of loyalty and affection ; and
she was visibly ali'ecied by these m irks of
devotion and attachment. Throughout the
whole lino of route but one desire seemed to
Qclu.iite nil present—that of best exhibiting
their loyalty towards their Sovereign.
In about an hour after leaving Buckingham
’palace, her Majesty arrived at the west en
trance of the Abbey, and w.is received by the
groat officers of state, the noblemen bearing
the regalia, and the bishops, when Her M-ijes-

Mujesty having been robed, advanced up the
nave into the choir, tho choristers singing
the antlvm, “ l was ulad when they said unto
me, we will go into the house of the Lor-t.”
When Hor Majesty took her seat in a cnair
before and below the throne, the spectacle
was truly magnificent. ’I hen followed the
recognition, Her Majesty’s first oblation, the
Litunv, ami the remainder of the service.
The sermon was preached by the Bishop
of London, from Cbron xxxtv. v. 21. The
Archbishop of Canterbury then administered

affixed her royal sign manual; alter which

the royal r.oW, nnd the delivery of the orb;
the investiture ot tho ring and gloves, and the
delivery of sceptre aud the rod with the dove.
Tno Archbishop then placed the crown on
her M .j-siy’s head, and the peers and peer-
esses put on their coronets, the bishops their
caps, and the kings-of arms their crowns.—
The effect was inaguifirient in the extreme.
The shout which followed this part of me
ceremony was really tumultuous. Alter this
followed the anthem, “ The Queen shall ro-

Tho solemnity «f »he coronation being thus
ended, tho Queen went down from tho shroi.e
to the altar, inudo her second obUton, nnd
returned to the chur.
The Archbishop then read the prayers for
the whole estate of Christ’s Church militant
hero on earth, &•’.; and the chorus. “ Halle-
luj.th I for the Lord God Omnipotent retgneth,

tho sltnr, accompanied by the great officers
of 8t:tte, when 1 the Archbishop read tho final
prayers. The whole coronation office being
