make reasonable advances on consignments
made to Mr. Samuel G. Sargent in
Boston, whom they guarantee.

IN orJer to place the fundsof the Acade
my in a situation most beneficial for
the public interest, and to prepare for er
ecting a building for a permanent feat of
learning:
Resolved, That all debts due this board
by note or simple contra# be collected,
and that the interest on all sums secured
by mortgage, be paid up to the firft of
January, 1800 ; and that all sums not paid
to the Clerk within three months, be by
him indiscriminately put in suit, and that
proceedings be commenced as soon as pos
sible for foreclofing all mortgages where
the interest is not paid up to the time a
bove mentioned.
Resolved also, That measures immedi
ately take place, for putting this board in
possession of all the property to which the
equity of redemption has been foreclofed,
where the mortgagors have not availed
themselves of the indulgent order of this
board, of the 21st day of March, 1793.

NOTIFICATION.
THE ufcderfigned intending hereafter
to reside principally at Rosny, a
favorite country feat in the neighborhood
of Augufla ; notifies his clients and others
who may have business to tranfadf with
him that he will in future, when unengag
ed at court, regularly attend at his Office in
the city on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday in every week, from nine o’clock
in the morning until tiie afternoon of each
day, for the dispatch of business.
He will attend the Federal Circuit Court
at Savannah and Augufla, the meeting of
the Judges at Louisville, and no other slate
courts than in the counties of Richmond,
Burke and Columbia, except on exraordi
nary occasions. Those who may have
claims on his services in nnfiniflied busi
ness in other courts, may have other coon
fel employed for them, or their money re
turned, or both if required.
Having lately formed a connexion
with Edmund B. Jenkins, Efqnirc, a
member of the bar, thole concernedare
further notified, that he will attend theW
fice every day during the fame hours.

trading with Benjamin Andrew of
Augufla, for a bond given by Wiiliani
Bibb, late of Elbert County, deceased, to
Beverly W. Stublefield, payable to George
Stublefield of Virginia, bearing date on or
