RESOLVED, That the power of the Committee appointed on flic 24th May lalf, to guard against the improper removal of earth from Bay-Itreel and other places within the City, be extended to all the lands appertaining to the trust now under lease. And that this resolution be published in one of the Gazettes in order that the lease holders may not attempt any improper removal of the foil either for making of bricks or for other purposes. A Silver Watch that had been gilt—and I believe, the minute and hour hands gold : with a chain, wrought in a plated manner, and a key, only, gilt. Whoever may have taken it for amusement, will please tore turn it, if otherwise, I will give eight dol lars for the Watch, or the Watch itfelf, if recovered, for the flicker, or in plain words for the thief. It has on it one of the fineft Peach Orchards in the state, confiding of about five thousand bearing trees. Perhaps no place in the upper country is poflefTed of greater advantages, in point of health, society, goodnefsof foil and improvements. Ten dollars for each will be paid on their being delivered in Savannah Jail, by Col. Ambrole Gordon, or in South- Carolina, by E. GILLETT. July 2. (ts. 58.)
