the property from that place; or they will
advance half the amount of any Ihipmeot
on its arrival at Boston, in any good? that
may be ordered from thence, or they will

Peterjburg Jockey Club Races, ‘
WILL commence for the fourth time
on the third Thursday In Novem
ber next, free for all horses, mares or
geldings in the United States. The weights
carried are the fame as those established at
Augusta.
The firft day's purse was last year worth
about 240 dollars—the second about 160
—and the third (for sweepstakes) the
amount of entrance money for the two
firft days.—First day’s running, four
times round the course; the second, three
times, and the third twice round.
It may be presumed, the purse will in
crease if any thing.
Those wishing to be better informed on
the fubje& will please make application to
the secretary, who will at any time pro
duce the laws for the government of the
society.

Line of Stages.
THE Proprietors have to inform the
Public, that the AUGUSTA and
SAVANNAH STAGE, will in future
run once a week— lt will leave Au
gusta every Tuesday Morning at seven
o’clock, and arrive at Savannah onThurf
day Morning nine o’clock ; returning,
leave Savannah on Friday one o’clock,
p. m. and arrive at Augusta on Sunday
afternoon.
Fare for Puflengers, nine dollars,
with an allowance of 141 b. baggage all
extra baggage 7 cents per lb.—All bag
gage to be at the riik of the owners.
The Proprietors think proper to observe
that they find it impossible that they can
afford the terms of pafiage at the former
price of eight dollars, as they arenow com
pelled to give at least one third more for
Forrage than they have hitherto done.

LOW named SAMPSON, about 29 or
30 years of age, is ibout 5 feet 4 or 5 in
ches high, well set, of a yellow complec
tion, speaks quick when spoken to ; some
of his upper foreteeth out, plays tolerable
well on the violin, had on a falors jacket
of grey plains when he eloped. Any per
son by securing him in jail or delivering
