THE Proprietors have to inform the
Public, that the AUGUSTA and
SAVANNAH STAGE, will in future
run once a week—lt will leave Au
guda every Tuesday Morning at seven
o’clock, and arrive at Savannah onThurf*
day Morning nine o’clock ; returning,
leave Savannah on Friday one o’clock,
p. m. and arrive at Auguda on Sunday
afternoon.
Fare for Passengers, nine dollars,
with an allowance of 14.1 b. baggage—all
extra baggage 7 cents per lb.—All bag
gage to be at the risk of the owners.
The Proprietors think proper to observe
that they find it impossible that they cau
afford the terms ofpaffage at the former
price of eight dollars, as they are now com
pelled to give at lead one third more for
Forrage than they have hitherto done.

FOR as much as it hath been reprc
fented to this court, that the defen
c ant Walton Harris is not an inhabitant
of this date, therefore cannot be met with
to be ierved with process issuing from this
honorable court.
It is therefore ordered by the court , That
the said Walton Harris, fife his answer to
the complainants bill, within thefird three
days of next March term of this court,
otherwise the complainants bill will be
taken pro Confejfo.
It wat also ordered by the court, that
publication of the above order be made ih
iome Gazette published in the date of
Georgia three weeks, and that a publica
tion also be made in the fame paper, that
on the fifteenth and sixteenth days of Ja
nuary next, the depositions Etheldred
Harris and John Crump, will be taken at
the house of Arthur Harris, in the county
of Montgomery, in the date of North-
Carolina, where the defendant Walter
Harris may be prefentif he thinks proper.

or villains or any of their accomplices,
who deliberately and inhumanly foot Mr.
John Hammond, on the evening of the
twenty-fird indant, about eight o’clock, as
he was palling through his own yard to
his Lodging-Room.
The money to be paid for such evidence
as will be fufficient to convift any one or
all concerned.
