OTICE.—The Board of Directors hav*
ing this day declared a Dividend of
three and a half Dollars, per share, for the
last six months ending this day, the same
will be p.aid to the respective Stock Holders,
on and after Thursday, the 21th inst.
IN conformity with the Charter, and By-
Laws, an Election for Eleven Directors
(to be chosen from the Stock Holders of the
Institution ; to serve for one year ensuing)
will be held at the Bank, on Monday the
fit!) next, between the hours of 10,
a. m and 4, p. m.— To be managed by
Messrs. James Gardner, A. Slaughter, John
Cla-ke , John .Moore and William White, or
any three of them.

Caution to Trespassers.
H \ V iiNG understood that several persons
nave been in the habit of trespassing
upon the Lands belonging to the estate of the
late Gen. Thomas Glascock, by cutting down
the timber, taking away Lightwood Posts,
Firewood &c. and that tnese illegal practices
are still continued, particularly on Tne Rocky
Cieek Tract, in this county—ThT Subscriber
therefore btfore taking any ot/er measures,
feels it his duty to give publi/- notice that if
