Bangor, Me., has u tramp dog that
is a traveller like the late postal dog
Owney. This dog is a long, lean
hound, owned by C. F. Shepley. He
will not stay 111 his comfortable home,
but haunts newspapers offices and the
police station, and when tired of Ban*
gor gets on the first train be sees and
journeys ovep. the state. He always
rides in a sea,t until made to get down,
and invariably applies at railroad re

name) never gets lost, but, after a
week or so on. the road, heads back
to Bangor fljfjgin as if he knows the
way.
