AN ESTiriABLE LADY GONE.
Mrs. Trippe Passed Away In Harlem
Yesterday.
After an Illness of three weeks, Mrs.
JO. L>. B, Trippe passeil away yester
day morning: at the residence of Mr.
Newnan Hicks.
The high moral character of this
Christian lady won for her the '.ove—
not only of the cttlsens of Harlem, hut
of Columbia county, where sh» was
born 71 years ago.
She leaves one child. Mrs. I. V. Bul
lard. who has been at her bedside,
where she displayed such devotions us
only can be brought forth at the death
bed of a loving mother.
This community shareß with her and
her worthy husband the sorrow that al
ways come* In parting with dear and
loving parents.
Robbed the Orave.
A startling Incident, of which Mr.
John Oliver, of Philadelphia was the
subject, Is narrated by him as follows:
•'I was In a most dreadful condition.
My skin was almost yellow, eyes sunk
en. tongue coated, pain continually in
back and sides, no appetite—gradually
growing weaker day by day. Three
physicians had given him up. Fortun
ately, a friend advised trying ‘Electric
Bitters;’ and to my great Joy and sur
prise, the first bottle made a derided
Improvement. I continued their use for
three weeks, and am now a well man.
I know they saved my life and rubbed
the grave of another victim." No une
should fail to try them. Only stf cents
per bottle at Howard A TVtllet's.
Some natures, like cathedral glass,
Opaque ami cold to outward sight,
If to their hearts we find a pass
