Mr. H Richards Charred* With Hav ing Concealed Weapons Mr. H. utchards, one of Augusta's constables, who was at the Recorder's court yesterday morning, .bound over for appearance at the city court on a charge of concealed weapons. A few afternoons ago Mr. Rirhards was riding his horse along the street In front of the Langley wagon yard, when the animal became frightened at two men that were apparently scuf fling in ihe roadway. Mr. Rirhards was nearly thrown from his horse. He. naturally, said a few words to the men about frightening his horse, and one of them. Mllledg# Bland, be came quite Impertinent to Mr. Rirh ards. That gentleman had drawn a pistol, hat did not point it at Bland. Bland's wife had appeared on the scene, and told Mr. Richards he "haA better get out of that part of town, and mighty quick at that." Mr. Richards reported the matter to Officer Hopkins, and Milledge re ported that Mr. Richards had drawn the pistol. There was a bit of confusing testi mony given by various witnesses In the case, but the judge decided that Mr. Richards had his pistol concealed, and so bound him over to the higher court. Bland was dismissed. Car Wheel Works Destroyed Cleveland, 0., Nov. 5. The works of the Standard Carwheel companv wece destroyed by fire today, Loss. $90,000. t ( .
