The soldiers were in clined to give a loud yell when they aaw him. but restrained themaelvcs. re membering that they were at ' Atten tion" Captain Trippe marched to the front of Co. E and began the last roll call for the Augusta aoldlers. Lieut, ttancken called each name alphabetical ly. and Captain Trifipe checked each name ofT, aa it va* called. The men stepped to the front of the line a* each respective name was called. It took about twenty minutes to get through with this part of the mustering out. and When the last name had been called the soldiers were marched into the armo- The Paying Off.
