NEW STATE MAP.
Mr. J. K. King, representing the
Hughes Publishing company, of At
lanta. is in the city, at 351 Greene
street, introducing a magnificent new
map of the state of Georgia. The
map Is one of the moat comprehensive
works of the kind ever offered in
Georgia, and. after an examination, has
met the approval of the Richmond
Academy and the rity schools, both
institutions having taken a number of
copies for use in their educational
work.
The map Is made on the standard
I\ S survey, giving the boundaries
of the various counties in a manner
that is taken in at a glance, including
the several new counties of the state,
and indicating the reassignment of the
congressional districts Incident upon
the changes made hy the establish
ment of the new counties. Besides glv
Ins an excellent geographical picture
of the state the map carries also lines
Indicating the various mail services,
rural and otherwise, the various rail
roads of the state and their connec
tions. ft is the first of the kind to
be offered throughout the state since
the rei-ent changes, and Is. indeed,
superior to the old maps. Beside the
educational institutions quite a num
ber of business houses are securing
them.
