Oate were up l-Bc. Provisions were
easier. All the markets closed tame.
Primary receipts of wheat for the

780,000 and 3,499,000 bushels respect
ively a year ago. CaHh sales wero
small and included 30,000 bushels of
wheat, 190,000 bushels of corn, and
60,000 bushels of oats at Chicago. The
Seaboard reported five loads of wheat,
two loads of corn and 30,000 bushels
of oats.
Clearance for the day were 468,000

heavy bear pressure, however,

January touching 9.44, or the lowest
point on the present movement.
The sentiment was bearish and
there was considerable talk of 9-eeut
