The development of the clay indus

The Wrong Breakfast Don’t Last Till
Linnar.
The fact that Grape-Nut* is a con
-1 centrated brain and muscle food, and
supplies actual nourishment in abun
dance, places It in a class distinct from
* a host of cereal foods that simply
"taste good." but have not the “body.”
A Michigan lady noticed a big dif
ference when she used Grape-Nuts for
breakfast. She writes:
"My little boy was so puny und ill
nourished we feared we would never
raise him. He could not. digest
starchy foods at all until he ate Grape-
Nuts which agreed with him perfect
ly.
“He began to gain so much that peo-:
pie asked me what I had found to j
make the difference.
“Realizing how much good It had
done him. I determined to try it my-j
self, for I have always been troubled
with indigestion and constipation,
taking a pill every night for years.!
and tonics most of the time.
"Skeptical as I was I Anally threw
away the pills and began to use Grape-
Nuts with eggs, three times a day. and
plenty of fruit and whole wheat bread. .
"I am perfectly surprised at how;
much It has helped me.l have gained !
so much strength and feel like a dif
ferent person. I am never distress-;
ed after eating and am always ready
.for my next meal—particularly break ]
! last.
“Formerly when 1 ate a hearty,
breakfast is distressed me so I rare
ly was ready for dinner, but I have !
! proved the right kind of food will al
low me a good breakfast und no
trouble.
"For breakfast I now use Grape

WILL HOLD ELECTION
IN JAN. FOR MAGISTRATE
Magistrate W. 11. Nurnberger has
been petitioned by the citizens of the
SQOth district to order an election
for Justice of peace for said district.
The election' will be ordered by the
magistrate for the first Saturday In
January.
It was the desire of the people
that a special election be called, but
wmskey men of the city objected up
!on the grounds that it would necessi
j tate the closing of their respective
places of business at a time when
; they were most desirous to remain
: open. Mr. Nurnberger, after delibera
tion decided that it would be an un
necessary hardship upon the liquor
men and fbr that reason the election
, will not occur this year.
The GuOth. district has been with
out a justice of peace for about two
I years. It will bo remembered that
i Capt. L. B. Lewis was elected to the
j office, but dropped dead before the
i returns were counted.
Mr. Nurnberger stated that by put
ting the election off until January It
j would give all who so desire an am
ple opportunity to announce their
, candidacy.
