MISS BELLE LAND
LWOTO REST
Great Gathering of Sor
rowing Friends Filled
First Baptist Church
Wednesday Afternoon.
The funeral of Miss Delle Land,
which took plate yesterday afternoon
at 5 o'clock at the First Baptist
church, was attended by one of the
i largest concourses of people ever
brought together for a similar pur
pose in Auguata,
It seemed as though the whole city
wai eager to pay a last tribute of re
spect to the memory of one whose
hautlfu! life had been felt to be a
benediction, and whose sudden and
unexpected death in a distant eity,
from congestion of the lungs, eame
as a shook to hundreds who had
eagerly looked for the speedy re
covery to health of the Indefatigable
worker In her chosen field of music
who had given up her activities oniy
at the Imperative demand of failing
strength.
The services conducted by Dr. Mel
ton, of which church Miss Land was
a member, assisted by Dr, Plunket,
of which church she was organist,
were very simple but most Impres
sive and beautiful. Among other se
lection* from the Scriptures, Dr. Mel
ton read the last part or the uplifting
eighth chapter of Romans, and Dr.
Plunket prayed In his usual soul-mov
ing manner. The music was render
ed by the choir of the First. Presby
terian church of whieh Miss Land had
so long been organist and director.
There was an especially lovely solo
by Miss Sarah Spang Miller.
The flowers that were brought in
countless numbers to cover the last
resting place of her who loved so
dearly th«s r children of nature with
whom she had so close a kinship were
almost without exception snowy
white, as was most fitting for so pure
a spirit and so sweet a nature.
The interment took place in the
family plat at the city cemetery.

Eat What You Want
And let Kodol digest it.
There can then be no fermentation,
no pain, no distress —no indigestion.
Eat a sufficient amount of good, wholesome food
every day. Eat what the appetite calls for, be
cause that i* what the health and strength of the
body require.
Then don't worry about indigestion or dyspepsia;
but take Kodol occasionally at the times when
you need it, and your food will be digested com
pletely ; but don't dirt and don’t deny yourself the
food you like, for dieting is unnecessary; it is
wrong to be hungry.
Food is fuel for the body. It furnishes blood,
bone, health and strength ; but it must be digested
first, and you are not going to be healthy or strong
as long as your stomach fails to do its work.
Don't fear to eat the food you like for as you
know the body requires a variety of it and that
which you don't eat may be the very thing you
need tosupply the necessary strength for your body.
We say eat what you want and let Kodol digest it.
Nor do you have to take Kodol all the time: you
wouldn't want, to have to take it all the time.
Take it just when you need it, and in that way al
low it to help the stomac h to get strong and well.
But when you do eat what you want and what
you like best, be sure that all the food is digested;
you muit be sure that the stomach is able to digest it.
Else that portion of the food, which remains in
the stomach undigested, irritates the stamach lin
ing, and that is what causes pain. Then again un
digested food ferments in the stomach and that is
what causes sour risings, gas and belching.

These are the things you have to, get rid of but
you can't do it by starving yourself. Weakening
the body is not strengthening the stomach. Yet
you do weaken the body when you deny yourself
some article of food you find does not agree with
you.
And here is where Kodol is so effective. It di
gests what you eat and does it completely. It en
ables you to eat just what you like and just what
your appetite demands.
Kodol doesn’t simply digest certain kinds of food—
it digests every kind of food. It acts as Nature
acts .and it assists Nature in assimilating the food—
it helps Nature get out of the food what there is in
it—strength, blood, bone, muscle and life.
Kodol is for you. Kodol is for anyone and every
one who needs it and we want you to try it now
and he convinced that you can eat just what you
like if you will only let Kodol digest for a time
that which you do eat.
